Partnership to Fight Chronic Disease
I just found out about a great website yesterday and a great cause. It is the Partnership to Fight Chronic Disease. The Partnership to Fight Chronic Disease is, according to their website:
“A national coalition of patients, providers, community organizations, business and labor groups and health policy experts, committed to raising awareness of policies and practices that save lives and reduce health costs through more effective prevention and management of chronic disease.”
Partnership to Fight Chronic Disease - About The PFCD
The mission of the PFCD is to:
- Educate the public about chronic disease and potential solutions that may be possible for individuals and entire communities.
- Mobilize Americans to speak out and seek changes in how the government, employers and the medical community approach chronic disease.
- Challenge policymakers on the health policy changes that are necessary to effectively fight chronic disease
